Alondale B. King
Alondale B. King, age 42, of Fort Wayne, died at 1:35 p.m. Thursday March 4, 2021 at his residence.
Born on May 7, 1978, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Jerry and Diane (Ray) King.
King attended Columbia City High School, where he wrestled and played football. He then proudly served his country in the U.S. Army with eight tours of duty in his career.
He enjoyed playing the latest and greatest video games available in his free time.
Survivors include his mother Diane King of Columbia City; siblings Floyd (Latisha) King, Irving King, Keitra Duff, Felice Pranger, Travis King, and Brooksie King, all of Fort Wayne, and Tia King of Columbia City; grandmother Dorothy Ray of Columbia City; aunts Peggy Kidd of Huntington and Pamela Ray of Columbia City; uncle Roger King of Columbia City; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry King, maternal grandfather James Ray, and paternal grandparents Harley and Viola King.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling two hours prior to service. With the current Executive Order, face masks are required for attendance. The funeral service may also be watched on DeMoney-Grimes Live at 1 p.m.
Military Honors will be rendered by the Whitley County Korean War Veterans.
