Hostrawser, Yates Among All-HNAC Hoops

FULTON – Lilliann Frasure had a monster girls basketball season, helping North Judson to a conference title and leading the way for the 2020-21 Hoosier North Athletic Conference girls basketball awards.
Frasure, the conference MVP, helped the Lady Jays to a 7-0 mark in the conference and an eventual spot in the Class 2-A semi-state among her growing list of personal accolades. Teammate Olivia Burkett was named All-HNAC and the trio of Sophie Frasure, Adalynn Harper and Abby Chambers were all Honorable Mention for Judson.
Pioneer ran to a Class 1-A state championship, but were just third in the conference at 5-2. Hailey Cripe, Olivia Brooke and Madison Blickenstaff were all First Team and McKenzie Walker was Honorable Mention.
Knox sat between the two teams at 6-1 in the standings, the Redskins with Remi Jordan, Felicity Olejniczak and Megan Bolen tabbed as All-HNAC and Preston Minix and Riley Messer as Honorable Mention.
Triton was just 2-5 in the standings but were a Class 1-A regional finalist knocked out in Pioneer’s state run. The Lady Trojans had Lexia Hostrawser named All-HNAC and Taren Yates as Honorable Mention.
Rounding out the All-HNAC list were Isabel Scales of Caston (4-3), Maggie Smith of Winamac (3-4) and Maddie Shedrow of Culver (1-6).
Honorable Mentions went to Addison Zimpleman and Jordan Clinger of Caston, Kingsley Kroft of Knox and Allison Medors of LaVille (0-7).
