Glen Michael Till
Glen Michael Till, 67, New Palestine, passed away at 10:07 p.m. Feb. 23, 2021, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on May 3, 1953, in Chicago, Ill., to Fred and Mabel (Carllile) Till.
He lived in South Bend until 1968 when he moved to Indianapolis, graduating in 1971 from Lawrence Central High School. Glen’s goal after high school was to successfully support himself by playing guitar full-time in bands and not have to work a second job. He was able to fulfill this dream for about 20 years, then worked in manufacturing and quality positions in factories around Indianapolis and Shelbyville. In his last working years, he drove a Yellow Cab in the Indianapolis area.
He is survived by three brothers, Paul Till of Indianapolis, Mark (Lizbeth) Till of Portage and Tom (Danette) Till of Warsaw; a sister-in-law, Pat Till of Indianapolis; seven nieces and nephews and 20 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Family services will take place at a later date.
Glen underwent hemodialysis for the last several years of his life, so preferred memorials may be given to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana, 911 E. 86th St. Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
