MILFORD — Ryan Mishler, president and CEO of Mishler Memorials, has announced Tony Ciriello has joined the company as vice president of sales. He will maintain an office at the Mishler Funeral Home in Milford, where he will also do funeral preplanning, work visitations and funerals.
“Tony has been a good friend for many years. He enjoys working with families at the funeral home, so I felt he would be a good fit for our organization. He has been participating in a thorough training program at our South Bend and St. Joseph, Mich., facilities.”
Mishler Memorials is one of the largest producers of memorials in the Midwest. The company owns and operates monument companies in Indiana and Michigan and has experienced growth of 300% during the past five years. They craft cemetery memorials, civic memorials, commercial signs and boulders. The addition of a laser has given the company the ability to produce laser etchings on granite and other materials, including caskets, and with a full-time artist on staff, they can provide custom hand etchings as well.
Ciriello will keep office hours at the Mishler Funeral Home in Milford where he can meet with families regarding cemetery markers and also assist families with funeral pre-arrangements.
Ciriello retired after 34 years in law enforcement, most recently as the chief of police in Syracuse. He began his career as an arson investigator for the state of Indiana before joining the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
For the past 21 years, Ciriello has served as the director of training for the Indiana Coroners Training Board. He spent 24 years as a deputy coroner, before becoming the Kosciusko County Coroner.
He has spent the past five years doing funeral prearrangements.
