Patricia Wallen
Patricia Wallen, 71, of Albion, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at 11 p.m. in North Ridge Village, Albion. She was born on July 8, 1949, in Peoria, Ill.
Pat loved the Lake and loved to fish. She loved to garden and can all kinds of vegetables, she made jams and jellies and loved to bake. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she loved to decorate for it and for family and friends to come over and eat and enjoy it with her.
Pat and her sister were foster children that were raised by Hap and Mary Utter, of Mentone. She married Dan Mcclone and had two children, Thad and Tara Mcclone. She divorced and later remarried Bill Wallen and they were married for 20-plus years. Bill preceded her in death. They were great together and enjoyed getting dressed up and Karaoke on the weekends, she loved to plant flowers especially roses (her favorite). She loved to crochet and make quilts and things, too.
She enjoyed being a homemaker as well as being a waitress at Stacy’s Restaurant in Leesburg. Pat was a member of the Moose Women’s Auxiliary, VFW, and the American Legion.
Pat is survived by children, Thad (Shannon) Mcclone, Tara Mcclone, Melissa (Charles) Chappell, Melanie Wallen; grandchildren, Payton and Payge Kreis, Jacob Mcclone, Jonathan, and Sara Kate Chappell, and Kalee Pruett; one sister, Louise Mellot.
No services will be conducted at this time. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.
