Milford Library Adult Reading Program Ongoing
News Release
MILFORD — There’s still time to participate in the Milford Public Library’s Adult Reading Program.
Please sign up at the adult circulation desk. People do not need a library card to participate. For every book or e-book read or audio book listened to, people are able to enter their name into a drawing for a chance to win a $25 gift card. The program runs until March 31.
Curbside service
The library is open for patrons to check out items. However, it’s also providing curbside service for those not comfortable coming into the library.
Please call (574)-658-4312 to request the items. A staff member will gather the items, check them out on the patron’s library card and bring them to their vehicle upon their arrival.
New arrivals
Each week, the library catalogs and makes available to our patrons several new items for the adult, teen and children’s departments.
Some of these new items include: “The Four Winds” by Kristin Hannah; “Endless Mercy” (The Treasures of Nome) by Tracie Peterson; and “The Vineyards of Champagne” by Juliet Blackwell.
The library encourages patrons to sign up for Wowbrary where all of its items cataloged for that week along with additional information about upcoming programs is provided through a weekly email sent to those who sign up.
Patrons just should go to www.wowbrary.org, click on the sign up tab, enter their ZIP code, choose Milford Public Library and enter their email address, then click submit.
Weather delays
When the weather is as unpredictable as it is in Indiana, sometimes the library will be closed. Be sure to check out the library’s Facebook page to stay up to date.
