Old Jail Museum Will Reopen To Public

WARSAW — Wednesday, March 3, the Old Jail Museum will reopen to the public for a new season. Museum hours will be 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Wednesday – Friday and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
According to a Facebook post, in addition to a number of new exhibits the “John Dillinger Experience” has been held over for another year. This exhibit features a number of authentic Dillinger artifacts as well as photos and other items of interest.
The Old Jail Museum is currently planning for the two- day “Dillinger Raid” that was originally scheduled to take place in 2020.
The event will feature historic tours, a jail open house, craft show, classic car show, children’s activities and food vendors. Watch for the date on this one.
The Old Jail Museum is planning to once again participate in the Downtown Halloween Spooktacular, along with other activities that will be announced at a later time.
For those interested in the dark side of the jail’s history as well as paranormal activity, an announcement will be made soon regarding new haunted jail tours by lantern light. Look for this coming soon.
