Terry L. Walters, 65, Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, in his residence. He was born Sept. 17, 1955, in Paintsville, Ky. to Gene and Patricia (Miller) Walters.
Terry was united in marriage to Michele Meredith Aug. 10, 1985, in Warsaw. He attended Johnson County High School in Paintsville and received his Electrician Certificate from the Dale Carnegie Training Course in 2006. Terry was employed by Fairmont Homes as an Electrician where he achieved 27 years of service and retired in 2009.
Survivors include his wife Michele Walters, Warsaw; children: Foster (Nicole) Dutton of East Point, Ky.; Lisa Hoppus, Warsaw; Desiree (Lucas) Schwartz, Warsaw; and Larissa (Christopher) Vande Hei, Warsaw. In addition, siblings Leslie Golden, Carmen Fraley, Tami Spencer, Eddrel Walters, Dawn Spears, 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren survive.
Due to current COVID-19 recommendations, masks are required. The public is kindly requested to provide their own. Social distancing is strongly encouraged. No food permitted at this time.
Visitation hours with family are scheduled from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A private family gathering is scheduled for a later date.
