WARSAW — Investigators are continuing to look into the cause of a recent fire in Warsaw.
Firefighters were called out to the mobile home blaze at 7:59 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, at Lot 11 in Shamrock Village, 920 Anchorage Road.
Warsaw Police Detective Sgt. Brad Kellar said Tuesday that “investigators are narrowing down whether this was an arson, as originally reported, or an accidental fire.”
It took firefighters about 40 minutes to get the fire under control, said Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Public Information Officer Max Kinsey. He said the abandoned mobile home is a total loss.
WWFT was assisted at the scene by Leesburg and Winona Lake firefighters, WPD and Lutheran EMS.
