WINONA LAKE – Grace College track athlete John Green picked up a national award on Monday as the NCCAA National Track Athlete of the Week.

Green earned two All-Crossroads League awards during the CL Indoor Championships. He set a Crossroads League record by winning the 200-meter race in 22.08 seconds. He also was runner-up in the 60 dash, finishing in 6.99 seconds.

Green’s performance helped the Lancers place fourth as a team on the men’s side. The women finished fifth in a memorable weekend for Grace’s track and field program.

The Lancers’ indoor season wraps up at the 2021 NAIA Indoor Championships on March 3-6 in Yankton, S.D.
