Elkhart 100.65, Wawasee 95.5
Wawasee continued to stack season highs, posting its highest team score in its visit to Elkhart.
Helped in the achievement was a season-high 33.0 all-around score from Talia Kuhl, who led the meet on floor (8.9) and led the team on vault (8.9). Emma Ebright paced Wawasee on both bars (7.6) and beam (8.0), finishing with another personal all-around best at 32.45. Olivia Ousley added an 8.5 on vault.
Meleena Strukel led the Lions on the vault (9.0), Mia Echartea on bars (8.7), and Irie Rolli on beam (8.6) and floor (8.8). Rolli then took honors on all-around at 34.05 with Echartea right behind at 33.95.
NorthWood’s Emilie Conrad posted scores of 8.0 on vault and 7.85 on floor among her 28.75 all-around Thursday night.
“Elkhart is a tough team to face, but the girls held up and did great,” said Wawasee head coach Molly Liston.
