Family, Friends Sought After Silver Lake Man Found Dead
Staff Report
WARSAW — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding friends or family of a man who died in his residence Tuesday in Silver Lake.
Warren Adams was found dead in his home at Corlys Lane, on Diamond Lake in Silver Lake, said Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Chief Mike Wilson.
Wilson said the coroner’s office has struggled to find any family or close friends to inform them of the man’s passing.
According to Wilson, Adams previously worked at McClure gas station and the Dollar General, both in Silver Lake.
Wilson said they think Adams may have had family in Arizona.
He was found about 9 p.m. Wednesday after authorities were asked by neighbors to do a welfare check at the residence.
Wilson said Adams appeared to be in declining health and was reliant on oxygen.
Anyone who could help is asked to call the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office at (574) 267-5667.
