Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 10:43 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, North CR 850E, south of East CR 850N, Syracuse. Driver: Philip R. Cox, 18, East Epworth Forest Road, North Webster. Cox was traveling south on North CR 850E when his vehicle slid on the roadway; this caused his vehicle to leave the roadway and hit a tree. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
- 12:22 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, South SR 25, south of South CR 550W, Warsaw. Drivers: Everette R. Justice, 58, West Harrison Street, Mentone; and Anne E. Forks, 18, East Evergreen Drive, Warsaw. Justice was traveling south on South SR 25 when she rear-ended Forks’ vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 3:09 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, US 30, west of SR 13, Pierceton. Drivers: Russell Gardner, 64, East CR 800S 43, South Whitley; and Kylee M. Robinson, 30, Biblers Avenue, Winona Lake. Gardner was traveling west on US 30 in the left lane when he rear-ended Robinson’s vehicle. This caused Robinson’s vehicle to spin out into the median. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 1:07 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 6351 E. Cornelius Road, Syracuse. Driver: Rashonda R. Roller, 42, East Chickadee Drive, Cromwell. Roller was traveling west on Cornelius Road when she lost control of her vehicle, causing her vehicle to go through a fence and onto a frozen lake. Damage up to $1,000.
