COVID-19 Update: More Than 1,000 In Kosciusko Fully Vaccinated

WARSAW — More than 1,000 people in Kosciusko County have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
An estimated 4,187 people in Kosciusko County have been administered their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. More than 127,000 Hoosiers are considered to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Kosciusko County has had 85 COVID-19 deaths and 8,173 positive cases.
Statewide, the Indiana Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 9,549.
The total positive number of reported COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 622,625. More than 6,929,000 COVID-19 tests have been administered to Hoosiers.
Locally, Fulton County has 1,675 positive cases, Wabash County has 3,110 positive cases and Whitley County has 3,196 positive cases. Marshall County has 5,136 positive cases, Noble County has 4,810 positive cases and Elkhart County has 24,631.
In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 46,196 positive cases, which is up from 45,894 reported on Wednesday, Jan. 27; Allen County has 33,482 positive cases; and St. Joseph County has 27,815 positive cases.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 433,000 people in the United States have died due to COVID-19.
