Tiger Baseball Prepping For Spring Training Camp
Press Release
WARSAW – Major League Baseball Spring Training is just around the corner, and so is the Spring Training Camp, hosted by the Warsaw baseball program.
This will be a two-day camp that focuses on hitting. Sessions will be conducted by the Warsaw Community High School baseball coaching staff with assistance from current players. The camp is a great way to not only learn hitting drills the Warsaw players do, but also get in maximum reps and instruction from the coaches and players teaching the drills.
Camp runs on two Saturdays, Feb. 20 and Feb. 27, from 4-6 p.m. at the WCHS TRAC Fieldhouse. The camp is intended for anyone in grades 3-8. Camp instructors ask anyone participating wear baseball pants, sweats or shorts; T-Shirt; baseball hat; and appropriate footwear. If able, bring a bat, batting gloves, batting helmet and water.
Cost of the camp is $40 per camper. Walk-up registrations will be accepted on the day of the camp, but the camp T-shirt won’t be guaranteed.
