James A. Coyle
James A. Coyle, 93, Goshen, passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Elkhart Hospice House after a short illness.
He was born July 23, 1927, in Goshen to Ernest and Della M. (Hite) Coyle.
He married Lenora (Vincent) Wolff March 16, 1968, in Elkhart.
He is further survived by six children: Connie Rich, Mission, Texas; Sandra Stump, Goshen; Tim Coyle, Sturgis, Mich.; Randy (Cindy) Coyle, Elkhart; Patricia (Rodney) Cummings, Goshen; and Rhonda (Donald) Wolff Walker, Syracuse; 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lloyd; and three sisters, Evelyn, Julia and Nadine.
Jim was a general contractor and known as a “jack of all trades” having worked many different jobs. He was very skilled at woodworking and fixing things.
He served with the US Navy and was a member of American Legion Post #143, Bristol and DAV #19, Elkhart.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
