COVID Update: Kosciusko Sees One New Death

WARSAW — Since Wednesday, Jan. 20, Kosciusko County has seen one new COVID-19 death, bringing the county’s total to 83. The county has 8,101 positive cases.
Wabash County Health Department recently reported four new COVID-19 deaths since Jan. 20, bringing the county’s total to 51. The county has 3,058 positive cases.
782 people in Kosciusko County have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
An estimated 3,193 people in Kosciusko County have been administered their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. More than 100,000 Hoosiers are considered to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Statewide, the Indiana Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 9,352.
The total positive number of reported COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 613,228. More than 6,761,000 COVID-19 tests have been administered to Hoosiers.
Locally, Fulton County has 1,648 positive cases and Whitley County has 3,111 positive cases. Marshall County has 5,069 positive cases, Noble County has 4,756 positive cases and Elkhart County has 24,478.
In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 45,676 positive cases; Allen County has 32,980 positive cases; and St. Joseph County has 27,531 positive cases.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 419,000 people in the United States have died due to COVID-19.
