Oswalt Family Bakery and Cafe Celebrates Grand Reopening

Members of the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce and the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, Jan. 22, to celebrate the reopening of Oswalt Family Bakery and Cafe in North Webster. NORTH WEBSTER — The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand reopening of the Oswalt Family Bakery and Cafe on Friday, Jan. 22.
The business had been closed for several weeks as it underwent a complete remodel of its dining area. The Oswalt family purchase the former J & W Bakery in Aug. 2019 and opened the cafe portion of the business in Nov. 2019.
According to owner Leon Oswalt, the bakery offers a large variety of homemade baked goods, including donuts, pies and cakes. The cafe features a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items, including homemade sausage gravy and hand breaded and pounded tenderloins.
The bakery and cafe, which are both located in the same building, are open seven days a week. They are located at 720 S. Main St., North Webster, and can be contacted by calling (574) 834-7800, or through Facebook.
