Margaret ‘Maggie’ J. Richardson
Margaret “Maggie” J. Richardson, 90, passed away at 4:01 a.m. Jan. 18, 2021, at her home.
Maggie was born the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Fairchild) Galloway on June 21, 1930, in Logansport. She had been a resident of the area for the past 30 years. In 1948, she graduated from Logansport High School. Maggie worked as a waitress, beautician, bus driver, truck driver, and homemaker. During her free time, she loved doing yardwork, crafts, and especially spending time with her family. She attended the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church.
Those who will miss Maggie are her daughters: Dawn (Mark) Drummond of Bourbon; Karen (Bill) Doss of Kokomo; along with nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Maggie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Linkletter; sister, Geraldine Johnson; and brothers, Richard McCloskey and Bill McCloskey; and granddaughter Deanna McCloskey.
There will be a private service on Friday. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Jan. 22. Pastors Matt Cottrill and Bishop Mark Cottril will officiate. Burial will take place at the Everest Cemetery in Logansport.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist in defraying the funeral expenses.
