Kimberly Kaye Duff
Kimberly Kaye Duff, 58, Argos, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Saturday Jan. 9, 2021, in her residence. Kimberly was born to William “Bill” Sweet Jr. and Sharon (Hite) Bope, Aug. 7, 1962, in Plymouth. She had lived in the Argos community since July of 1980 and grew up in Rochester.
She married David Lee Duff Jr. Jan. 15, 1982, in Argos, and they shared nearly 39 years.
Kimberly graduated from Rochester High School with the class of 1980. She worked for the State of Indiana at the Division of Family Resources for over 30 years. Kim was known for her kindness and caring heart. She dedicated much of her professional and personal life to helping others. She enjoyed NASCAR racing, shopping and spending time with her family and freinds. But most of all Kim adored her grandchildren, and being their “Nana” was one of her greatest joys. She loved Gatlinburg, Tennessee and took many trips to see her beloved Smoky Mountains.
She was a member of the Argos Church of Jesus Christ, Argos
Kimberly is survived by her husband; daughters: Stephanie Gonzalez and husband Stephen of Plymouth; and Jessica Duff of Argos; two grandchildren: Christian and Briella; sister, April Gross and husband Rodney of Rochester; step-siblings: Raymi Bope of Oklahoma; Debbie Watts and husband Mike of South Bend; Danny Bope of Plymouth; Faith Gamble of Plymouth; Kristi Mabis and husband Chris of Columbus; and Coy Bope and wife Brooke of Florida
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-brother,Ward Bope
Visitors must follow state COVID 19 guidelines, including wearing a mask and social distancing.
Friends may visit with the family from noon-1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Church of Jesus Christ; 15676 Michigan Road, Argos. Memorial Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ.
