Sandra Eileen Craddock
Sandra Eileen Craddock, 77, Fernandina Beach, Fla., passed away Jan. 15, 2021, at Kindred Hospital of Northeast Florida.
She was born June 25, 1943, in Warsaw, to James Lackey and Mary Ann Huffman. On Feb. 28,1964, in Palestine, she married Clayton Elmer Craddock.
She, along with her husband Clayton, owned Craddock’s Air Conditioning in Zephyrhills, Fla., where she was the operations manager. She loved worshipping her Lord and Savior and was a Southern Baptist church member for many years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, playing the piano, and sewing. Most recently she donated hundreds of masks to the local hospitals in the Jacksonville area.
Survivors are daughter, Rhonda (Bill) Yates, Fernandina Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, William Cody, Sierra, and Jackson Yates; brother James (Karen) Lackey, Sebring, Fla.; and two sisters Marilyn (Fred) McSherry, Burket; and Nancy (Jerry) Leedy, of Murrels Inlet, S.C.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Craddock, parents James and Mary Ann Lackey, her brother Richard Lackey, and by her infant daughter, Brenda.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Blackrock Baptist Church in Yulee, Fla., with the Rev. John Kasper officiating. Burial will be at the Palestine Cemetery, in Palestine, at a later date.
