WARSAW — More than 500 people in Kosciusko County have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
An estimated 2,052 people in Kosciusko County have been administered their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 524 people in the county have been fully vaccinated. More than 63,000 Hoosiers are considered to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Kosciusko County has seen 77 COVID-19 deaths and 7,888 positive cases.
Fulton County Health Department reported one new COVID-19 death, bringing the county’s total to 30. Fulton County has 1,602 positive cases.
Statewide, the Indiana Department of Health website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 8,966, which is up from 8,872 reported on Friday, Jan. 15.
The total positive number of reported COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 592,709. More than 6,462,000 COVID-19 tests have been administered to Hoosiers.
Locally, Whitley County has 2,955 positive cases and Wabash County has 2,939 positive cases. Marshall County has 4,949 positive cases, Noble County has 4,621 positive cases and Elkhart County has 24,132.
In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 44,495 positive cases, which is up from 43,837 reported on Friday; Allen County has 32,035 positive cases, which is up from 31,608 reported on Friday; and St. Joseph County has 26,847 positive cases, which is up from 26,542 reported on Friday.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 397,000 people in the United States have died due to COVID-19.
