Janet Pressler
After many struggles from a 1982 car accident and a short battle with COVID-19, Janet Pressler entered heaven and the presence of her Savior Jan. 17, 2021.
Born in Warsaw, Oct. 24, 1949, Janet grew up in Albion and was married in Auburn. She had four children and lived most of her adult life in Elkhart County. She enjoyed bird watching, growing geraniums, reading and nature.
Having believed in Christ as her personal savior since her late 20’s, she actively grew as best she could in her Christian walk through prayer, Bible reading and attending a variety of churches in Elkhart County. She especially enjoyed Elkhart County’s Child Evangelism ministries and often hosted five-day clubs in the summer.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mabel Butler, an infant brother and most recently, her older sister, Alice Bauman.
She is survived by her four children: Teresa (Jeff) Carrilllo and their children, Kendra, Lance, Trey and Kara; Jeremy (Jenny) Pressler and their children Lauren and Kylie; Jason (Kristie) Pressler and their children, Kinslyn and Westen; Daniel (Sondra) Pressler and their children, Keegan and Gunner. She is also survived by three brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Jan. 22, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Son-in-law, Jeffrey M. Carrillo, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Greider-Oak Grove Cemetery, North Webster.
Memorials may be given to Child Evangelism Ministries by Elkhart County.
