Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 5:47 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, East CR 1300N, west of North CR 100E, Milford. Driver: Taylor A. Richards, 24, Railside Drive, Syracuse. Richards was traveling east on CR 1300N when her vehicle hit a patch of ice, causing her vehicle to end up in a ditch. Damage under $750.
• 5:04 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, East Armstrong Road, east of EMS T25 Lane, Leesburg. Driver: Roger P. Burger, 22, CR 25, Syracuse. Burger was traveling west on Armstrong Road when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a utility pole. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 4:56 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, West Emeline Street, west of South Main Street, Milford. Drivers: Joseph N. Riggs, 29, South West Street, Milford; and Martin R. Lantz, 30, East Syracuse Street, Milford. Riggs was traveling west on West Emeline Street when his vehicle slid and rear-ended Lantz’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
• 1:10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, West US 30, west of North CR 500W, Warsaw. Driver: Tanner C. Daniel, 25, North CR 150E, Columbia City. Daniel was traveling east on US 30 when his vehicle hit a patch of ice, causing his vehicle to go into an embankment and roll. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 7:23 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, North CR 175E, south of EMS C24 Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Connie A. Gasaway, 57, North 2nd Street, Warsaw. Gasaway was traveling north on CR 175E when a deer entered the roadway. To avoid hitting the deer, Gasaway swerved her vehicle; this caused her vehicle to leave the roadway and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
• 11:33 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, East CR 200N, west of North CR 850E, Warsaw. Driver: Raquel L. Richards, 60, East CR 200N, Pierceton. Richards was traveling east on East CR 200N when her vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree. Richards complained of lower right leg pain. A passenger in the vehicle, Ruth L. Johnson, 60, West Lafayette, complained of rib and chest pain. Both decided to seek further medical attention via personal vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
• 4:07 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, East Hatchery Road, north of North CR 850E, Syracuse. Driver: unknown. An officer responded to a report of a white Chevy Malibu lodged in some small trees north of the intersection of North CR 850E and Hatchery Road. The vehicle was not occupied. Skid marks show the vehicle went through the intersection across Hatchery Road and off the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
• 10:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, South CR 450W, south of West CR 350S, Warsaw. Driver: Jonathan N. Ramos, 20, East Central Street, Akron. Ramos was traveling south on South CR 450W when his vehicle left the roadway and entered a field. Damage up to $5,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 4:32 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, North Indiana Avenue, north of East County Line Road, Syracuse. Drivers: Brent A. Graves, 47, North SR 13, Syracuse; and Michael T. Weaver, 25, East Iris Drive, Syracuse. Graves was traveling north on North Indiana Avenue when Weaver’s vehicle slid through an intersection, causing a collision. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 1:46 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 36 Fairlane Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Jason F. Dorsett, 40, East Center Street, Warsaw. Dorsett thought he put his vehicle in park; however, his vehicle hit a garage door. Damage up to $1,000.
• 11:07 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2315 Shelby Drive, Warsaw. Driver: John W. Lantz, 30, West Leigh Drive, Warsaw. Lantz was backing his vehicle from a loading dock when he hit a Stafford’s Solid Waste dumpster. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 4:32 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, East CR 225S, west of Packerton Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Evan F. Watkins, 29, Ellsworth Street, Warsaw; and Riley E. Kline, 22, East Pierceton Road, Warsaw. Watkins was traveling south on Packerton Road when he attempted to turn right onto East CR 225S. As he did so, his vehicle slid into Kline’s. Damage up to $2,500.
