Katherine Lovell

Katherine Lovell, 83, rural Silver Lake, passed at 3:45 p.m. Friday, Jan.15, 2021, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center of Warsaw.

She was born on May 21, 1937, in Wisconsin, to William and Irene Allison. She married on Nov. 26, 1954, in Bowling Green, Miss., to Noah Lovell, who preceded her in death May 28, 2010.

She enjoyed crocheting and going to church. She also enjoyed watching and feeding birds as well as spending time with her dog Taco.

Katherine is survived by her son: Rudy ( Jeanette) Lovell, Fort Wayne; daughters: Theresa (Mike) Pearce, Silver Lake; Shari (Richard) Casey, Warsaw; Tina (Lance) Boswell, Silver Lake; Shawn (Tom) Mullins, Claypool; and Amber (Richard) Iseton, Silver Lake; 21 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one great-great-grandson on the way; two great-great-grandchildren on the way; a brother: Willie Allison; and a sister: Pat Northern.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Noah Lovell; a daughter: Melissa; brothers: Earl, Russell, Jessie, and Richard; and a sister: Loraine.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, with Pastor Courtney J. Brooks officiating.

The interment will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.

Visitation hours will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
