DUNLAP – There wasn’t much doubt coming into the night if Northridge would do well in the Northern Lakes Conference Diving Championships. It was just which of the three Raiders would have their best night.
Friday night it was Jiselle Miller, who hung a 523.25 in her 11-dive set to top the field of 15 at Concord. Miller repeated as NLC champion after posting a 514.35 last January. Kaitlin Simons scored a 493.05 for second and Evie Long had a 435.05 to give Ridge the diving sweep, which puts Northridge atop the NLC Championship scoreboard with 55 points.
Maddie Copsey was the first non-Raider to appear on the list with a 371.85 series for fourth and NorthWood’s Reagan Koble rounded out the top five with a 355.75.
NorthWood’s Abby Montgomery scored a 261.95 to place 11th.
Swimming returns to the Concord pool Saturday with the championship and consolation rounds, which start at 1 p.m. at the Concord Aquatic Center.
