Brian Carl Foust
Brian Carl Foust, 61, Mishawaka, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, at St. Joseph Health System, Mishawaka. On June 27, 1959, in Plymouth, he was born to Carl F. Foust and Nila Mae (Kreighbaum) Foust. Brian spent most of his childhood growing up in the Culver community, moving to South Bend, Indiana in 1971. He had lived in Mishawaka since 1984.
He had been a truck driver, factory worker, and restaurant worker. Most recently he had been a metal scraper.
Brian attended LaSalle High School, South Bend. He was a member of I.B.E.W. of South Bend; American Legion and MOPAR Motor Group. Brian served in the United States Army, having been discharged on April 6, 1982.
He loved to shoot pool and play darts. He always had time for an “Old Western or Army” movie.
Brian is survived by his son: Eric Foust and wife Jessica of Plainfield; grandchildren: Xander Foust and Khyl Foust; sister: Leanne Surguy and husband George of Syracuse; brother: Alan Foust and wife Mandi of Mishawaka; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents
Friends may visit with the family from noon-1 p.m., Monday Jan. 11, at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos.
Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Vale. Burial will follow at the Maxinkuckee IOOF Cemetery at Poplar Grove, Culver, with Military Honors at the cemetery.
