Warsaw Library Reverts Back To Curbside Service

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Public Library is changing to curbside service only beginning Monday, Jan. 4, due to Kosciusko County going red from increasing COVID-19 cases in the county.
The change to red, announced on Wednesday, means new restrictions on the size of gatherings.
Virtual library events can be found on WCPL’s Facebook page, YouTube Channel, Google Meet or Zoom. People are asked to register for events that require registration in advance. People may follow the library on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and warsawlibrary.org for updates, events and news.
The following events are set to take place in January:
- Storytime Live is 11 a.m. each Monday on Facebook.
- Bedtime Stories are 7 p.m. each Thursday on Facebook. Wind down the day with books read by WCPL staff.
- Fab or Fail is 9 a.m. Jan. 1 on YouTube. Learn if different painting techniques that are popular on the internet are fab or fail.
- Teens may explore new books with Reading Resolutions at 4 p.m. Jan. 4 on Facebook and YouTube.
- People may pick up a Children’s Crafts to Go kit while supplies last. Kits are available curbside starting Jan. 12 and Jan. 26.
- Kids Write is for children ages 5-12 who enjoy to write and illustrate. It’s held on Google Meet at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 12. Please register to reserve a spot and receive a link to join the event.
- Learn how to play the Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle game during Unbox the LOT at 4 p.m. Jan. 13 on Facebook and YouTube.
- A Virtual Intro to Dungeons and Dragons will be held on Facebook at 5 p.m. Jan. 18.
- Join Sue Delagrange for Brain Boosting Foods at 1 p.m. Jan. 25 on Zoom. Advance registration is required.
