Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 9:50 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 700 block North Detroit Street, Warsaw. A representative for Low Bob’s reported the use of counterfeit money.
Elkhart County
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 72000 block CR 29, Syracuse, a child in need of service’s investigation was started.
- 9:49 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2400 block Messick Drive, Goshen. Ricky Duchaine, North Jefferson Street, Cromwell, reported his truck stolen from his place of employment.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 7:22 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 6100 block SR 17, Rochester. Police were notified of the theft of scrap metal from a property.
- 9:31 p.m. Saturday Dec. 26, 2900 block Bachelor Road, Rochester. Police were notified of a male receiving a call from a random phone number leaving threatening messages. The caller ID is showing his daughter’s name but it is not her phone number and he does not recognize the voice.
- 9:19 p.m. Friday, Dec. 25, 300 block CR 900E, Akron. Police were called regarding a verbal argument over the theft of a $110 gift card and $45 cash.
- 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 25, 8400 block Fort Wayne Road, Akron. Police were called regarding items stolen out of a residence.
- 9:02 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, 200 block Eighth Street, Rochester. A resident reported after giving out her bank information via email she froze her account and then started receiving a call from someone claiming they were FBI asking what bank she used. The caller had her birthday and address.
- 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 4700 block CR 1000S, Lucerne. Kylee J. Fenstermaker reported a rock thrown through the window of a 2020 Dodge.
- 4:02 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1300 block CR 700E, Rochester. Richard Smith and Michele Smith reported home improvement fraud.
