Fritz Risner
Fritz Risner, 84, Lawton, passed away on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at his home.
He was born on Dec. 5, 1936, in North Judson, to the late Huston and Lewie (Marshall) Risner. He married Patricia Nies on July 21, 1973, in Winamac. He was a retired truck driver. He was an outdoorsman and especially loved fishing, gardening, and mowing. He also enjoyed tinkering on anything and everything. He was a loving and devoted husband, daddy, and grandpa.
He had an infectious laugh and enjoyed getting the last word in. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia (Nies) Risner, Lawton; daughters: Tammy (Timothy) Tilton, Leesburg; Sherry Risner, North Carolina; Debora (Brian) Johnson, Lafayette; and Opal Jean Rogers, Rochester; a son: Adam Risner, Lawton; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother: Alfurd Risner, Michigan City; sisters: Glenda Deshon, Kansas City, Miss.; Evelyn Raby, Missouri; and Geneva Bilek, Michigan City; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons: Dean Adams and Fritz Risner Jr.; three great-grandchildren; sisters: Ilean Collins, Genus Tague and Ettazene Peck; and brothers: Harold Huston Risner and Nelson Grey Risner.

Private funeral services will be held at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, with Pastor Tim Lee officiating.
Private burial will take place at Paul’s Chapel Cemetery in Winamac.
