County Sees One New COVID-19 Death

WARSAW — Kosciusko County reported one new COVID-19 death, bringing the county’s total to 63, according to the Indiana Department of Health website.
The county’s case count is now at 6,205.
The Fulton County Health Department recently reported one new COVID-19 death, bringing the county’s total to 23. The death occurred on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Fulton County has 1,253 positive cases.
Wabash County Health Department also recently reported three new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the county’s total to 36. Wabash County has 2,399 positive cases
Statewide, the IDH website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 6,944, which is up from 6,781 reported on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
The total positive number of reported COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 453,139. More than 5,157,000 COVID-19 tests have been administered to Hoosiers.
Locally, Whitley County has 2,171 positive cases and Marshall County has 4,170 positive cases, which is up from 4,086 reported on Wednesday; Noble County has 3,590 positive cases and Elkhart County has 21,440.
In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 36,329 positive cases, which is up from 35,536 reported on Wednesday; Allen County has 25,241 positive cases, which is up from 24,770 reported on Wednesday; and St. Joseph County has 22,478 positive cases.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 311,000 people in the United States have died due to COVID-19.
