WPD Hires Three Officers
News Release
WARSAW — The Warsaw Police Department has hired three people – Mason L. Sumner, Ryan A. Connors, and Tyler A. Denniston – as probationary patrol officers.
Sumner is a Warsaw Community High School graduate and currently resides in Warsaw. He attended Indiana/Purdue University Fort Wayne where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in music and audio engineering. Prior to being hired as a probationary officer, Sumner was employed in parking enforcement at WPD.
Connors is a Warsaw Community High School graduate and currently resides in Warsaw. He attended Ivy Tech Community College where he received a technical certificate in building and construction technology. Additionally, Connors was previously in the Marine Corps where he received many accolades. After completion of his active status in the Marine Corps, and prior to being hired at WPD, Connors worked for LSC Communications.
Denniston is a graduate of Southwood High School. He attended Indiana Institute of Technology where he played baseball all four years and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. Connors is an honors graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and previously worked for the Rochester Police Department.
