Debra J. Johnson
Debra J. Johnson, 64, of Rochester, passed away at 11:51 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
Deb was born on March 29, 1956, in Kentucky to Miley and Betty Ousley. She married on Aug. 16, 1993, in Plymouth to Earl D. Johnson, he survives.
She had worked in different nursing homes and was a cashier at Wal-Mart in Rochester. She was a graduate of Warsaw High School. Deb enjoyed crocheting blankets and coloring pictures. She loved her three dogs and ten cats. She was known to pray every night for everyone she knew.
She is survived by her husband Earl Johnson, stepdaughter Melanie and husband Michael Leedy, of Rochester; stepson, Brian Johnson, of Rochester, grandchildren Brendan, Presten, and Haley; great-grandchildren Jeffery and Charlie; mother Betty Ousley, of Claypool, sisters Vera and husband Lowell Gruenwald, of North Manchester, Sharon Durnell, of Claypool; brother Jerry and wife Karen Ousley, of Nappanee, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Miley Ousley.
A memorial visitation will take place from 1 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana. Masks will be required for all in attendance.
A private interment will be in the Sycamore Cemetery, Mentone, at a later date.
