Dougls D. ‘Doug’ Schuler
Douglas D. “Doug” Schuler, 61, North Webster, passed away at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at his home. He was born on Feb. 20, 1959 in Battle Creek, Mich. to Leon and Elaine (Etchison) Schuler.
He graduated from Plymouth High School and has lived in the Leesburg and North Webster area for the past 29 years. He worked most of his life in the construction field and was formerly employed at Rinker Boat Company in Syracuse.
He is survived by his daughters: Angela (Matthew) Kline of Elkhart and Crystal (Ryan Head) Schuler of Warsaw; son: Steven (Bethany) Schuler of Cincinnati, Ohio; nine grandchildren; life partner: Pamela Schuler of North Webster; mother: Elaine Ansbro of Hobart; three sisters: Becky Brehmer of Hobart, Laura Larimore of Wheeler, and Rhonda (Billy) Wellsandt of Idaho; two brothers: Craig Schuler of Plymouth and Christopher Schuler of Angola; three step-sisters: Leora (Bill) Maynard of Atlanta, Ga., Brenda (Mike) Getling of Lake Village, and Naomi (Mike) Irvine of Whiting.
He was preceded in death by his father, twin daughters: Susan and Sara Schuler, son, Scott Schuler, brother, Shawn Schuler, step father, Marvin Ansbro, step mother, Bunny Schuler, and step brother, Craig Ansbro.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Memorial services will follow at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
