John Scott Fortner, 49, Nappanee, died at 7:50 a.m., Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, at his residence of natural causes.  He was born April 30, 1971, in Wabash to Garry and Linda (Barnett) Fortner.

Mr. Fortner worked in the manufacturing industry.  He loved his children.  John enjoyed making people laugh and going on bike rides.

Mr. Fortner is survived by sons, Kendric Fortner, Fort Wayne, Braden Fortner, North Manchester; daughter, JayLynn Lent, Elkhart; father, Garry Fortner, North Manchester; and sisters, Dayna (Rob) McConnell, North Manchester and JacQueline Eby, Nappanee.

Cremation will take place and inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
