WARSAW – Zimmer Biomet has launched a foundation focused on supporting STEM education and enabling community health, especially in underserved communities.

The Zimmer Biomet Foundation says it will build on its corporate support of local and global healthcare communities through its “Movement is Life” initiative. The program provides Zimmer orthopedics products, medical education, and training.

The foundation also announced a partnership with the NAACP’s Empowerment Programs Inc., the civil rights organization’s nonprofit arm.

Through the foundation, Zimmer Biomet is committing $2 million over the next three years to support efforts to advance diversity and equality.
