Paul Eugene Wiard
Paul Eugene Wiard, 90, formerly of Claypool, passed away at 11:37 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, in Madison. He was born on Oct. 28, 1930, in Warsaw, to Norman and Ruth (Moore) Wiard.
He was a lifetime Kosciusko County, resident. On June 17, 1965, in Warsaw, he was united in marriage to Ruth E. Wiley. He was a self-employed drywall contractor for many years. He was a former member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. In addition, he was a Mission Worker for the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by; sons Bruce Wiard of Macy; David A. (spouse Linda) Wiley of Warsaw; Rex D. (spouse Lorraine) Wiley of Arcadia; daughters; Janet E. (spouse Phil) Schoonover of Wheaton, Ill.; Joyce K. (spouse Richard) Harding of Mentone; Karen R. (spouse Scott) Schuster of Fishers; Teresa J. (spouse Dathan) Reed of Claypool; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Norman and Charles, and a sister; Norma.
Due to COVID restrictions there was no visitation. Private graveside services were held at Palestine Cemetery at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2. Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiated the service.
