Harvey D. Anderson
Harvey D. Anderson, 81, Warsaw, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020, at Parkview Whitley Hospital.
He was born on April 21, 1939, in Pennsylvania, the son of Lloyd H. and Etta Jane Cramer Anderson. He spent his formative years near Latrobe, Pa., before moving to Warsaw in 1959. He worked for Gatke Corporation, where he met Flossie Prater, to whom he was wed on Nov. 7, 1959.
When he was in better health, Harvey had enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting; he liked anything that got him outdoors. A hard worker, he was a retired welder. He had a great love for his family and for the Lord and was a longtime member of God’s Highway to Heaven Church.
Survivors include wife, Flossie Anderson, of Warsaw; son, Daniel (Charlotte) Anderson, of Warsaw; daughters: Becky (Gary) Holloway, of Warsaw; and Patty (Jim) Loubert, of Tippecanoe; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.
He was preceded in passing by an infant daughter, Virginia Anderson; his parents; and four brothers.
Assisting the family is Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2. At 11 a.m., Pastor Bob Brown will officiate Harvey’s Life Celebration service. Private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
