Evelyn J. Kuhn
Evelyn J. Kuhn, 84, of rural Claypool, passed at 9:30 pm, Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at Paddock Springs of Warsaw.
Evelyn was born on July 2, 1936, in Kosciusko County, to the late Elza and Fern (Longbrake) Ball. She married on Sept. 2, 1968, in North Webster, to Donald E. Kuhn, who preceded her in death on June 25, 2018.
She was a 1954 graduate of Burket High School. Evelyn was a homemaker and a school bus driver for Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation for 18 years. She was an active member of the Silver Creek Church of God, where she played the piano and organ. She also was known to accompany the Kuhn Trio, the Friends Quartet, and played for many funerals. Evelyn also taught piano lessons in the 70’s. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed puzzles.
Evelyn was survived by daughters Pam and husband Darrel Miller, Mentone and Debra and husband Rodney Clark, Rochester; sons David Kuhn, Mentone, Gary and wife Marla Kuhn, Etna Green, and Tim and wife Laura Kuhn, Claypool; grandchildren Amber, Tiffany, Dustin, Kevin, Brad, Natalie, Heidi, Nathan, Becky, and Kreg; and 19 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Don Kuhn.
The funeral service for Evelyn will be held at noon, Saturday, Dec. 5, at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, with Pastor Thomas Craig officiating.
The interment will take place in the Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Visitation hours will be from 10 a.m.- noon, Saturday, Dec. 5, at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
Masks will be required for all who are in attendance.
