Phyllis Eddy

Phyllis Eddy, 93, of Warsaw was welcomed home peacefully in her sleep on Nov. 22, 2020.

She was born the youngest to Fred and Lottie Burns of Muncie. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Spencer and Joseph Burns.  S

he married the love of her life James Robert Eddy in October of 1946, who preceded her in death in 1983.

They moved to North Webster from Springfield, Ohio. They enjoyed a passion for sailing, traveling to Mackinac, Mich. and Santa Bell Island with their sailboat. She collected seashells on their adventures. She excelled in the art of homemaking.  She created hand stitched needlework art.  She had impeccable taste and style. She was a wonderful cook, candy maker and enjoyed baking.  She enjoyed red wine.  She kept beautiful red roses in her garden.

She is survived by her son David Scott Eddy and daughter-in-law Deborah Eddy; her granddaughters Cathy Weiler and Lori (Shane) Hastings; she has four great grandchildren: Jenna, David, Lex, and Choe.

Services will be held at noon, Friday, Nov. 27, with calling one hour prior from 11 a.m.-noon at the Eastlund Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at the Mitchell cemetery in Warren, IN.
