Milford Public Library Closed For Thanksgiving; Knitting Club Now Meeting Virtually
Press Release
MILFORD — The Milford Public Library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, for Thanksgiving.
The library will reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28. Any returns can be placed in the book or DVD drop boxes located on the south side of the building.
Curbside Service
Milford Public Library would like patrons to know that staff care about patron health and safety. While the library is still open for in-person check-out, know that the library is still offering curbside service for those who are not comfortable physically coming into the library. Patrons are able to place items on hold through the library website or by calling (574) 658-4312. A staff member will gather your items and bring them out to your vehicle when you let the library know you are there.
For patrons coming into the library, you are still required to wear a mask and socially distance form others who are browsing. The staff here at the library want to keep guests and staff healthy so the library can continue serving the community.
Knitting Club
Due to the recent rise in COVID numbers, members of the Knitting Club have made the tough decision to not meet at the library for the remainder of the 2020 year. However, the Knitting Club will be meeting virtually via Zoom. To join the club virtually, call (574) 658-4312 and a staff member will put you in touch with the group. The Friends of the Library members have also made the decision to cancel their December meeting. The library appreciates the care both of these groups give to their fellow members and attendees.
