Warsaw 48, Wabash 33
Warsaw moved to 2-0 with a road win at Wabash Wednesday night.
The Tigers finished what it started, taking a 26-12 lead into the half and maintaining its advantage throughout the second half. Warsaw also won the inside game, outscoring the hosts 26-16 in the paint forced Wabash into a whopping 34 turnovers on the night.
Kensie Ryman paced the offense with 16 points and Abby Sanner had 11 points and seven rebounds. Lauren Grose added seven points and eight boards – seven of those offensive – which was part of 19 offensive rebounds Warsaw pulled down against the Apaches.
Mariah Wyatt, who had recorded double-doubles in three straight coming into the night, including a massive 27-point, 24-rebound night in a win over Ole Miss, nearly had a fourth. The senior All-State volleyball stud had 18 rebounds and nine points, but also had nine turnovers.
Rylee Yoakum added 10 points for the Apaches (3-2).
Warsaw also announced Wednesday night the layout for the Saturday contests at Warsaw.
The original Duneland Shootout scheduled for Saturday has been amended. Crown Point has dropped out, so South Bend Adams will take the vacancy and create the schedule:

4 p.m. Warsaw v. Adams; Northridge v. Merrillville
