Valley continued its road theme with a third straight contest away from campus, and picked up its second win of its year.
Sidney Wagner led Valley (2-1) with 26 points and Kaydence Mellott had 14 points in the win.
The two teams lived outside the three-point line, Valley hitting nine bombs and South Central eight treys. The two teams, however, saw a different fate from the free throw line, as the Vikings were 10-20 from the stripe while the Satellites were just 1-2 on freebies.
After the two teams scored a combined 44 points in the third quarter, Valley edged South Central 8-7 in the fourth.
Delaine Gale led the hosts with 18 points and Olivia Marks added 12 points.
