Pets Of The Week
Press Release
PIERCETON — November is National Adopt a Senior Pet Month. This month, the Animal Welfare League will be celebrating all of its golden year pets.
Ruger
With a chocolatey brown coat, sweet eyes and a charming personality, Ruger is a treat to meet at the AWL. He is a 6-year-old, neutered male, American Staffordshire terrier/Boxer mix. He is 73 pounds of hugs and kisses. Ruger is an outgoing boy who enjoys playtime and long walks. He would do best as an only pet and with children more than 12 years of age. Call to make an appointment to meet Ruger today.
Ruger’s adoption fee is $105.
Evelyn
Some people would say Evelyn is “purrsnickety.” She prefers to think there is nothing wrong with having one’s own way. Evelyn is a 6-year-old, spayed female, domestic shorthair mix. She has a black coat with bright green eyes and weighs eight pounds. This elegant girl is looking for a loving family to give her lots of attention. Evelyn can be a little shy at first when meeting new friends. Once she is comfortable, she enjoys head rubs and taking naps in her red bed. Call to make an appointment to visit Evelyn today.
Evelyn’s adoption fee is $60.
