Area Accident Reports
Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 5:44 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, SR 15, north of Yvonna Street, Leesburg. Driver: Alyssia A. Antu, 20, East CR 1150N, Milford. Antu’s vehicle dropped off the edge of the roadway. When she overcorrected, her vehicle went off the road, into a steep ditch. Antu complained of minor facial pain. Damage up to $2,500.
- 3:46 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, East CR 500N, west of North CR 850E, North Webster. Driver: Tanya L. Miller, 40, East CR 650N, Leesburg. Miller’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
- 6:13 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, SR 25, west of West CR 250S, Warsaw. Driver: Lanti H. Stump, 39, Osprey Drive, Mentone. Stump’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
- 8:02 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, SR 15, Claypool. Drivers: Michael Vest, 32, US 30, Pierceton; and Steven M. Patton, 48, Myrtle Glen Road, Silver Lake. Vest’s vehicle rear-ended Patton’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 8:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, Pike Street, east of Columbia Street, Warsaw. Driver: Trevin R. Miller, 23, DuPont Road, Fort Wayne. Miller was stopped at a stop sign at West Pike Street and North Columbia Street. Miller said he saw another vehicle traveling north on Columbia Street and believed the vehicle was slowing for a stop sign, so Miller proceeded to pull out. His vehicle was struck in the right front end. The other vehicle did not stop. Miller’s sister took him to Parkview Hospital. Damage up to $5,000.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents
- 4:29 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, US 31 and SR 25. Driver: Mason J. Munn, 28, Mattawan, Mich. Hit deer.
- 4:16 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, SR 14 and CR 500E, Rochester. Driver: Bryce D. Ogle, 20, Somerset. Ogle swerved to miss a deer and hit a pole.
- 9:44 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, SR 110 and SR 17, Culver. Driver: Ralph A. Cybulski Jr., 55, Culver. Cybulski hit a road construction sign that had fallen into the roadway.
