INDIANAPOLIS — Kosciusko County Council Member Sue Ann Mitchell, North Webster, was elected treasurer of the Association of Indiana Counties Board of Directors. She began her term Nov. 1. Board elections were held during the AIC’s virtual annual conference in September.

I have long supported the AIC’s programs and legislative initiatives.
“I feel education for public officials is critical and the AIC provides great benefits through the Institute for Excellence in County Government, newly elected officials training, annual conference and legislative conference. I am very proud to have earned the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of my years of successful completion of educational programs provided by AIC.
“The AIC also takes an active role in the legislative process with all affiliates working together with legislators on legislation for the betterment of county government. I look forward to my time serving on the board with so many great leaders from communities all over the state of Indiana.”
