Pets Of The Week
Press Release
PIERCETON — November is National Adopt a Senior Pet Month. The Animal Welfare League is celebrating all of its golden year pets.
Zeus

Zeus
Zeus has the heart of a champion and a personality to match. He is a six-year-old, neutered, male Beagle mix. He has a white coat with black and brown patches, copper eyes and weighs 23 pounds. When he first arrived at the AWL, staff were struck by his gentle and laid-back demeanor. Staff were devastated too learn he tested positive for heartworms. Zeus was immediately started on heartworm preventative and will need to continue this regiment for the rest of his life. This boy has been through so much and shown such bravery, the AWL feels he deserves a loving family. Zeus is a sweet and gentle dog who loves to go outside for walks. If you have small children or other pets, he would like to see them. Call to make an appointment to visit Zeus today. He’ll take you on a tour of the AWL grounds.
Zeus’ adoption fee is $105.

Tippy
Tippy
From the tips of her ears to the tip of her tail, Tippy the cat is one of the snuggliest residents of the AWL. Tippy is an eight-year-old, spayed, female Calico/Domestic Short Hair mix. Her snow-white coat is dotted with black and orange patches. Tippy is the first cat to get up from her resting spot to greet AWL guests with a nod of her head and melodic purr. She loves to be pet and cuddled. Tippy is hoping to be adopted into a quiet home where she can soak up all the attention. She would prefer to be an only pet and does best with teenaged children. Call to make an appointment to meet Tippy today. She’ll happily sit in your lap in one of our four cuddle rooms.
Tippy’s adoption fee is $60.
