Marion Driver Injured In US 31 Crash

PLYMOUTH — Timothy Thomas, Marion, was flown to South Bend Memorial Hospital with a possible head injury following a two-vehicle collision on US 31 at 11th Road, Plymouth. The accident occurred at 2:29 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department reports an investigation has determined Thomas was northbound in a 2003 Chevrolet Impala at a high rate of speed, when it struck the back of a 2006 International flatbed driven by Robert Landis, Argos. After impact, Thomas’ vehicle went off the east side of US 31 and rolled over several times, ejecting Thomas from the vehicle.
Landis was not injured.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Plymouth Fire Department, Medflight and Lyon’s Wrecker Service.
