Randy D. Grimm, 60, rural Rochester, passed away at 8:04 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2020, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Randy was born on Aug. 25, 1960, in Warsaw to John and Shirley (Horn) Grimm. He married Ruth Creviston on Aug. 12, 1994, in Rochester. She survives.
Randy was a welder and a machinist. His favorite things were music and going out to eat with family. He was very fond of tending to his outdoor animals. He was a longtime fan of the Cubs and the Bears. He was known for making deals and enjoyed trading up whenever he found something good.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Grimm, Rochester; daughters Stacy and husband Joe Gamble, Rochester, Robin and husband Jason Ousley, Rochester, and Brandie and husband EJ Yano, Carmel; son Randy and wife Lori Rogers, Akron; grandchildren Joey, Jake, Jared, Gracelynn, Tyler, Kandis, Ethan, Noah, Eli, Chelsea, Brooke, Connor, Colin and Samantha; great-granddaughter Amethyst; mother and stepfather Shirley and Dick Wine, Warsaw; father John “Dick” Grimm, Rochester; and sisters Melody Craig, Mentone, and Tammy Shepherd, Mentone.
Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Richard “Richie” Grimm.
A service is being planned for a later date.
