Pauline E. Brown
Pauline E. Brown, 84, Kewanna, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, at Hickory Creek at Rochester.
Born on July 11, 1936, in Kewanna, she was the daughter of the late Clyde C. and Murl (McQuiston) Mosher.
On June 7, 1957, she married Richard M. Brown at the Methodist church in Kewanna. He preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 2003.
Pauline was a 1954 Kewanna High School graduate and a 1955 graduate of the International Business College in Fort Wayne.
She was first and foremost, a homemaker and loving wife and mother. But when her son and daughter were young, she worked part time for Harold Hyatt when he was building Kewanna Screen Printing. Later, when her kids were in elementary school, she worked at the Village Market grocery store and later at the Marlo diner, both in Kewanna.
Surviving are her son, James “Jim” Brown and his wife Deborah and grandson Clayton Brown, all of Stevensville, Mont.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Julia L. Brown; her brother, Wayne LeRoy Mosher (died at 8 months of age); and sisters Mavis Murl Mosher (died at 5 years of age) and Bonnie May Pearson.
A graveside service will be announced.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kewanna-Union Township Volunteer Fire Department or Kewanna United Methodist Church
